Dry Wheel Track Solution (DWTS)

Boombacks were first developed to move the sprinkler away from the tower to help control wheel tracking or rutting. When using traditional 360° sprinklers, moving the sprinkler 15’ behind the tower helped to reduce the amount of water hitting the tower structure and kept it away from the front of the tire - reducing the effects of wheel tracking.

Dry Wheel Track Technology™ in action!

With the advent of Part-Circle sprinklers, we can now keep the tower and wheel track dry by using Boombacks at the tower with 180° sprinklers spraying behind the direction of travel.More..

Innovative Boom Technology (iBt)

On the last third of a pivot, use Boombacks in an alternating offset pattern. Using 15’ (4.5m) Boombacks to spread the water out you lower the Instantaneous Application Rate, allowing the soil time to absorb all the water being applied, practically eliminating run-off.More..
